Cavallino Classic Modena 2026 returns to the roots of the Ferrari legend

May 25, 2026

The 2026 edition of Cavallino Classic Modena once again brought the spirit of Cavallino to the place where the Ferrari legend began. Held over three days at Casa Maria Luigia, the event paid tribute to Enzo Ferrari’s origins, to the Modenese landscape and to the culture of Italian excellence, combining the Concours d’Elegance with fine hospitality, gastronomy, art and driving experiences through Modena, Maranello and the surrounding hills.

At the heart of the event was the Saturday Concours d’Elegance, which gathered 40 exceptional Ferraris. The top honours went to the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 chassis no. 0856, awarded Best of Show Finest Competition Ferrari; the 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Coupé Ghia chassis no. 0476 AM, awarded Best of Show Finest GT Ferrari; the 1997 Ferrari F50 chassis no. 106610, awarded Best of Show Finest Ferrari Classiche Certified; and the 2007 Ferrari F2007 chassis no. 259, which received the Chairman’s Award.

Other major awards highlighted the breadth of Ferrari history represented in Modena, from the early racers and V12 grand tourers to the Dino family, the V8s, supercars and modern V12s. Among the most notable recognitions were the People’s Choice Award for the 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta “Tour de France” chassis no. 0899 GT, the Best Ferrari Sound award for the 1995 Ferrari 412 T2 chassis no. 161, the Preservation Award for the 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 “Daytona” chassis no. 16047 and the Restoration Award for the 1985 Ferrari “288” GTO chassis no. 57477.

A car counted among the Automotive Masterpieces could not be missed: the 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 chassis no. 12653, an almost unique Daytona, one of only two alloy-bodied examples and the only one built for road use.

The programme extended beyond the static display. On Saturday afternoon, the cars left Casa Maria Luigia for a parade through the historic centre of Modena, reaching the Enzo Ferrari Museum. The following day, the tribute continued on the roads of Maranello and the surrounding hills, routes historically linked to Ferrari road prototypes since 1947, before arriving at Casa Canossa for a lunch signed by starred chef Andrea Incerti Vezzani.

Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Cavallino Classic and Canossa Events, underlined the significance of bringing the Palm Beach spirit of Cavallino to Modena, “the place where it all began,” and thanked the collectors whose 40 cars made the 2026 Concours especially precious in the year marking the 35th anniversary of Cavallino Classic.

The event was supported by RM Sotheby’s as Presenting Sponsor, with Riva, Bang & Olufsen, Azimut – Automobile Heritage Enhancement and Richard Mille as Main Sponsors, and Moët & Chandon as Official Champagne Partner.

Cavallino Classic Modena will return in 2027.
