Chassis no. 08653 was ordered directly to Ferrari by movie star - racing driver Steve McQueen on September 21, 1965 with custom features. It will be the last Ferrari 275 GTS to be produced (no. 200). It is assumed that, originally, the plan for the model foresaw building only 199 cars. Assembly was completed only on May 30, 1966.
