Of the 1928 Riley 9 HP Brookland Speed Model, chassis no. 60/19, no historical photos were available; although known, they had been lost.
RESEARCH
In this case our work was purely research in photographic image archives. Archives are a precious source and still reserve surprises but they have different levels of organization and evolution; in this moment of intense digitization, we are faced with completely computerized and cataloged collections, but also with collections that are still purely physical and on paper that must be consulted "in the field", with a considerable amount of time. The search yielded rediscovered images of the car competing at the 1929 Tourist Trophy; last step: the management of their rights.
