The case of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, chassis no. 198.043.5500486, is that of an important car with a tracked sporting past.
RESEARCH
Our research took place thanks to digital supports, such as the innovative AI systems and the well-known OCR programs, which have reached, in the latest evolutions, an exceptional degree of reliability and speed. These devices, applied to archive investigations, led to the addition of competitions: the 1956 Bolzano-Mendola, the 1957 Intereuropa Cup, 1957 Trieste-Opicina, the 1959 GP Lotteria Monza Coppa Esso.
