STARTING POINT
The sporting history of the 1954 Maserati Sport 2000 (Carrozzeria Fantuzzi), chassis no. *2064*, was known.

RESEARCH
Participation in the Mille Miglia (1956 edition) was not known for this specimen and we were able to ascertain and validate it, thanks to our research. We do not hide a particular pride in noting that, thanks to this discovery, the bibliography has adapted in the following years.
