#AlfaRomeoGiuliettaSpider

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider is a convertible car built from 1955 to 1962. The US importer, Max Hoffman, asked the top management of Alfa Romeo to produce a "spider" version of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint to be offered on the North American market. In 1954 Rudolf Hruska contacted the Turin body shops Bertone and Pininfarina, entrusting them with two chassis each, in order to carry out their proposals for the future "Giulietta Spider". Pininfarina's proposal resulted in a more sober stylistic approach linked to the Italian tradition. On the latter fell the choice to start the production of the new spider.
