Restoration: Restored in France by Jean Verchere. During the restoration, while the car was dismantled, its front and rear suspension assemblies and various other running-gear components were transferred to Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 chassis 911 360 0642. This transfer appears to have subsequently led to the erroneous claim in some sources that the original bodyshell of 911 360 0921 was transferred to 911 360 0642.
