Engine
From February 2024
Alternative engine Fitted with front-axle electric motor-generator unit (Compact Dynamics project, unit n° B003) delivering 200 kW (272 hp), powered by a 900-volt lithium-ion battery pack that recharges mainly through regenerative braking and deceleration phases. It engages above the FIA-imposed speed threshold, creating a temporary all-wheel-drive system that works in combination with the rear-mounted combustion engine. The integration of the two units provides balance and efficiency, with overall output capped at 500 kW by regulation.
