The Scuderia Sant'Ambroeus is a racing team born in Milan in 1951 from an idea by Eugenio Dragoni, Alberto della Beffa, Franco Martinengo, Alessandro Zafferri and Elio Zagato. The Scuderia was created to promote the competitive activity of emerging drivers, with the aim of bringing pilots, especially Italians, to the threshold of Formula One.
