Felice Mario Boano was an Italian automobile coachbuilder. Boano started working at Stabilimenti Farina and, in 1930, he followed Battista Pinin Farina who has founded Pinin Farina. With Giorgio Alberti, he bought the Carrozzeria Ghia in Torino when their friend Giacinto Ghia died (1944). At Ghia he and Luigi Segre were central in several low-roofline designs. He founded Carrozzeria Boano in Grugliasco (1954-57) with his son Gian Paolo Boano. Starting in 1957, he worked under Dante Giacosa for Fiat in their Turin styling department.
