Gilberto Colombo was an Italian engineer and designer. He was responsible for numerous inventions relating to competition vehicles. He founded the Gilco in 1946. With this brand (an acronym of his name), and with the brand related Gilco Design, Colombo signed all his projects, both those made by its Gilco Autotelai, both those made on behalf of third parties.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
