The international circuit was organized by the Automobile Club of Reggio Calabria from 1953 to 1959 and brought to Reggio drivers from all over the sporting world as the English Colin Davis, the American Colin Chapman, the Italians Biondetti, Piatti, Musso, Bellocci, De Filippis, etc.
