Abarth is an Italian car manufacturer, founded March 31, 1949 by the Italian-Austrian engineer Carlo (Karl) Abarth and by the driver Guido Scagliarini.

Born as a specialist, based on the production of little sports cars, it owes its success especially to the homonymous mufflers, produced for the tuning of several cars of manufacturers such as FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, SIMCA and Porsche.
