#SquadraVolanteDellaPoliziaDiStato

The "Squadra Volante" (i.e. Flying Squad) of the State Police (also known as the Reparto Volanti) is a section of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office of the Italian State Police, which ensures emergency response 24 hours a day. It is directed by an official of the State Police , and is present in every police station. The main feature of the Volanti is to constantly patrol the territory with the use of cars, the famous "panthers", with the classic colors of the Police. The cars used by the Flying Squad are specially equipped and, for their use, include bulletproof and shatterproof armor and side windows, special protections on the doors and the characteristic bulkhead, or partition, which separates the policemen from the arrested.

We'll tell the story of the squad on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
