#SimonKlaver

Simon Petrus Adrianus Klaver (Amsterdam 01/07/1915 - ?), butcher, was a Dutch gentleman driver who owned and raced the BMW 328 chassis 85111 in 1949. He entered the Nationale Sportwagen Race on 26 June 1949, marking one of the few documented post-war European appearances of this pre-war BMW sports car. Although he did not achieve notable results, Klaver’s involvement highlights the continued use and cultural relevance of the 328 in private motorsport circles after World War II

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
