Sergio Bettoja was an Italian entrepreneur and gentleman driver from Rome, active in the early 1960s. He was part of the Bettoja family, known for its long-standing presence in the Italian hotel industry, especially through the Compagnia Romagna Alberghi. A motorsport enthusiast, Bettoja was among the select group of affluent private individuals who had direct access to top-level Ferrari machinery in period. In addition to his passion for cars, Sergio Bettoja was also involved in organizing challenging long-distance rally-style events. In 1967, he promoted an extreme endurance rally across the island of Elba, dedicated to the memory of his father Ettore.
