#ScuderiaPartenopea

Scuderia Partenopea was an Italian private racing team active primarily in the late 1950s and early 1960s, participating in both national and international sports car events. Based in southern Italy, the team fielded a variety of Italian cars, including Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ and SVZ models, Ferrari 250 GTs, and Lancia Aurelias. The team competed in prestigious races such as the Targa Florio and the 1000 km of Paris. Notable drivers associated with Scuderia Partenopea include Giuseppe Alotta, Domenico Tramontana, Paolo Samonà, Sergio Bettoja, and Antonio Maglione. In the 1960 Targa Florio, the team secured a fourth-place finish in the GT 1.3 class with drivers Dario Sepe and Sergio Bettoja in an Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ. Although Scuderia Partenopea did not achieve major international victories, it played an important role in promoting motorsport in southern Italy and gave talented local drivers the opportunity to compete in top-level racing events.
