#SaloneAutomobileMilano

The Salone dell'Automobile di Milano was a significant event in the history of Italian automotive culture, though less renowned than the Salone dell'Automobile di Torino. As a major industrial and cultural hub, Milan hosted several editions of this exhibition during the early decades of the 20th century, showcasing the advancements and innovations of the automotive industry both in Italy and internationally. The first editions of the show took place in the 1920s. It served as a key meeting point for Italian manufacturers who used the event to present their most innovative models. The show also attracted international brands, highlighting Milan's economic importance on the global stage. Historically, the event was held in prominent exhibition spaces in the city, often tied to the Fiera di Milano. During the 1930s, the show reflected the autarkic policies promoted by the Fascist regime. Over time, however, the Show gradually lost prominence to Turin. After World War II, it never regained its former status and ceased to be a regular occurrence.
