Robert Reid is a Scottish rally co-driver and motorsport official, best known for his long partnership with Richard Burns in the World Rally Championship. Competing together from 1991 to 2003, Burns and Reid achieved 10 WRC victories and won the 2001 FIA World Rally Championship with Subaru, making Reid one of the most successful British co-drivers of his generation. His career included works drives with Subaru, Mitsubishi and Peugeot, and he is especially associated with the Subaru Impreza WRC. After retiring from competition, Reid held several governance roles in motorsport, including positions with Motorsport UK and the FIA. He served as FIA Deputy President for Sport from 2021 until his resignation in 2025, further establishing his relevance beyond his competition career.
