In the 1970s several regional regularity and rally events were held in Liguria, around Savona, La Spezia and Genoa, often organized by local ACI clubs or teams such as Scuderia del Grifone. Some competitions were named “Coppa,” “Trofeo,” or “Regolarità” followed by the location. The Regolarità di La Spezia was a motorsport event held in Liguria from the 1960s through the late 1970s, part of the Italian regularity and rally calendar. Based in the Gulf of La Spezia, it featured routes combining coastal roads and inland climbs, where precision in average speeds and navigation was decisive.
