#Prodrive

Prodrive is a British motorsport and advanced engineering company founded in 1984 by David Richards and Ian Parry. Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, it became internationally known for designing, building and running competition cars for major manufacturers across rallying, touring cars, sports cars and endurance racing. Prodrive is especially associated with Subaru’s World Rally Championship programme, having developed and operated the Subaru World Rally Team from the Legacy RS through the Impreza 555 and the later Impreza WRC generations. Its work with Subaru produced some of the most recognisable rally cars of the 1990s and 2000s, contributing to multiple World Rally Championship titles and victories with drivers including Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Petter Solberg. Beyond rallying, Prodrive has also been active in GT racing, Le Mans, touring cars, Dakar and specialist road-car projects, establishing itself as one of the leading independent motorsport engineering companies.
