#MonzaRallyShow

The Monza Rally Show is a unique motorsport event held at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, blending the speed of circuit racing with the technical challenges of rally driving. First organized in 1978, it was initially a non-championship exhibition event, bringing together drivers from different disciplines for an end-of-season showdown. Over the years, it evolved into a highly anticipated competition, attracting top rally drivers, Formula 1 stars, and even MotoGP legends. During the 2000s, the event gained worldwide recognition, thanks to the participation of high-profile names like Valentino Rossi, Colin McRae, and Sébastien Loeb. Rossi, in particular, became the undisputed star of the Monza Rally Show, securing seven victories between 2006 and 2018. The format was also refined, introducing The Master’s Show in 2006, a head-to-head knockout challenge that quickly became one of the most exciting parts of the weekend. In 2020, due to the pandemic, Monza was included in the World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar for the first time, hosting the season’s final round. The experiment was repeated in 2021, but the event was later dropped from the WRC, leaving the future of the Monza Rally Show uncertain.
