Michael Mauer (Rotenburg an der Fulda, July 28, 1962) is a German engineer and designer, currently the Chief Designer at Porsche. He previously worked for Mercedes-Benz and Saab. In 2004, he joined Porsche, succeeding designer Harm Lagaay. Mauer was responsible for the design of the Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, 918 Spyder, and the 911 (991).
