The Internationales ADAC/HMSC-Flugplatz-Rennen Mainz-Finthen was a German motor racing meeting held on a temporary circuit laid out at Mainz-Finthen airfield, near Mainz. First staged in the 1960s, it became a regular fixture for touring cars, GTs, sports prototypes and single-seaters, and later formed part of major German championships including the Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft. The 6th International ADAC/HMSC Flugplatz-Rennen, held on 1 July 1973, used the 2.15 km airfield circuit and included races for DRM machinery as well as sports cars and Formula 3.
