Le Zèbre was a French make of car built between 1909 and 1931 in Puteaux, and later Suresnes. The company was founded by Jules Salomon and Georges Richard initially with finance from Jacques Bizet, son of composer Georges Bizet. Le Zèbre was a pioneering company in economical automobiles. It democratized the automobile, ensuring that it was no longer a luxury but a tool for the masses.
