#KimiRäikkönen
Kimi Räikkönen is a Finnish racing driver born on October 17, 1979, in Espoo, Finland. Known as “The Iceman” for his calm and reserved demeanor, he rose through the motorsport ranks with remarkable speed, making his Formula 1 debut in 2001 with Sauber after only 23 car races. He joined McLaren in 2002 and quickly established himself as one of the fastest and most naturally gifted drivers of his generation, narrowly missing the World Championship in 2003 and 2005. In 2007 he moved to Scuderia Ferrari, winning the Formula 1 World Championship in his first season with the team—the last Ferrari driver to do so to date. After a brief departure from Formula 1 between 2010 and 2011, during which he competed in rally and NASCAR events, Räikkönen returned to F1 with Lotus in 2012 and rejoined Ferrari in 2014, racing for the team until 2018. He later competed for Alfa Romeo Racing until his retirement at the end of the 2021 season. Admired for his raw talent, minimal media presence, and iconic one-liners, Räikkönen remains one of the most popular and enigmatic figures in Formula 1 history.
