#JochenRindt
Karl Jochen Rindt (born April 18, 1942 in Mainz; died September 5, 1970 in Monza) was a racing driver, Formula 1 world champion and multiple Grand Prix winner. As an orphan with German citizenship, he grew up with his grandparents in Graz and competed as a racing driver exclusively for Austria. In 1970, Rindt had a fatal accident during training for the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo di Monza. His points lead that season was enough to make him the only driver to date to become posthumous Formula 1 world champion.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
