#JimClarkRennenHockenheim
The Jim Clark-Rennen was an international race meeting held at the Hockenheimring and named in memory of Jim Clark, who was killed there in 1968. It became a regular fixture on the German motorsport calendar and was particularly associated with the European Formula 2 Championship, often carrying the title Jim Clark-Rennen zur Europameisterschaft Formel 2 um den Martini Gold Cup. The programme also included supporting races for GT and touring cars. The 1973 edition, held on 8 April at the Motodrom Hockenheim, featured a non-championship GT/Touring race in which Gerd Quist won with a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, ahead of Günter Steckkönig.
We'll tell the story of this race on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
