Jean-Claude George was a french chemical engineer and sports car enthusiast. He owned, among others, a 300 SL Gullwing, a 1937 Bugatti Type 57C (Van Vooren) and a works XK140 SE. He took part to many races including 1954-56 Montecarlo , 1954 Mille Miglia, 1952-54 Rallye de Charboniere, Rallye du Nord from 1952 to 1956, 1954 Rallye de Geneve, 1954 Bol d’Or.
