#JürgenKannacher
Jürgen Kannacher (1945–2019) was a German racing driver and businessman active from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s. He began competing in touring and GT racing with Porsche machinery and scored an overall victory at Zandvoort in 1972 in the Deutscher Automobil-Rundstrecken-Pokal. During the mid-1970s he raced Porsche 911 Carrera RS and RSR models, later progressing to the Porsche 934 and 935, and competed in both the Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft and other national and international GT events. In 1980 and 1981 he switched to the BMW M1, before moving into Group C with URD prototypes in the early 1980s. Kannacher also appeared in World Championship endurance races, including the Nürburgring 1000 km and Spa 1000 km.
