The International Championship for Manufacturers (IMC) was created by the FIA in 1970 as a global competition reserved for car manufacturers. It served as the direct precursor to the World Rally Championship, featuring iconic events such as Monte Carlo, RAC, Sweden, TAP Rally, Acropolis, and Sanremo. Lancia won the 1972 title with the Fulvia 1.6 HF, a milestone achievement before the WRC was established in 1973.

We'll tell the story of this championship on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
