The Gran Premio de Penya Rhin was a race held continuously from the 1920s to the 1950s. The first editions of 1921, 1922 and 1923 were at the Vilafranca del Penedès Circuit, province of Barcelona. Four editions were in Montjuïc and four in Pedralbes in the city of Barcelona. It had a total of 11 editions. They were mainly contested with Grand Prix vehicles, although sometimes with sports cars. The 1950 and 1954 editions were Formula 1 events outside the world championship.
