The Gran Premio de Venezuela was a sports car race held in Caracas from 1955 to 1957. Run on a temporary street circuit based around the Paseo Los Próceres, it was initially a non-championship international event before becoming part of the 1957 World Sportscar Championship, when it was held over 1000 km and also known as the 1000 km de Caracas.The 1957 championship edition used an extended 9.93 km layout linking Paseo Los Próceres with part of the Autopista Valle-Coche.
