#GiovanniBoneschi
Giovanni Boneschi was an Italian coachbuilder and entrepreneur who founded Carrozzeria Boneschi in 1919 in Cambiago, near Milan. Under his direction, the firm became known for its elegant and technically refined custom bodies on high-end chassis, especially from Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat. During the 1930s, Boneschi gained particular recognition for designing formal and ceremonial bodies on the Lancia Astura Series IV, often commissioned by state institutions. Giovanni Boneschi remained at the helm of the company through its expansion in the postwar period, overseeing its transition into modernist design experimentation in the 1950s.
