Dr. Giacomo Baruzzi, born on March 1, 1917, in Massa Fiscaglia (Ferrara), was an Italian physician and philanthropist who lived and worked in Ferrara. In the 1950s and 1960s, he funded professorships at the University of Ferrara, including chairs in radiology and obstetric-gynecological pathology. He was married to Graziella Grassi, daughter of Lucio Grassi, owner of the Cinema Nuovo in Massa Fiscaglia. He is remembered for his lasting contributions to medical education and local cultural life.
