Gerino Antonio Achille Gerini (Rome, August 10, 1928 – Cremona, April 17, 2013) was an Italian racing driver. His career began in the 1950s, competing in sports car races behind the wheel of a Ferrari. He participated in two editions of the Mille Miglia, in 1953 and 1954. After switching to Maserati, he entered the 1956 Formula 1 World Championship, making an impressive debut with a fourth-place finish at the Argentine Grand Prix, sharing his car with Chico Landi. That same year, he also secured a podium finish at the non-championship Naples Grand Prix and claimed victory in the Coppa Inter Europa. In 1957, Gerini took a sabbatical from racing before returning to competition the following season, though he was unable to replicate his previous successes. His last recorded race appearance was at the 1960 1000 km of Nürburgring. After retiring from racing, he worked for Lamborghini. Gerino Gerini passed away on April 17, 2013.
