#FrazerNash

Frazer Nash was a marque of British sports cars manufactured from 1922, first by Frazer Nash Limited founded by engineer Archibald Frazer-Nash. After the company’s financial collapse in 1927, a new entity, AFN Limited, was incorporated. Control of AFN passed to Harold John Aldington in 1929. Until the Second World War, AFN continued to produce a small number of Frazer Nash sports cars featuring a unique multi-chain transmission. After the war, another 85 cars were built, this time with conventional gearboxes, before production ended in 1957. As the official UK importer for BMW in the 1930s, AFN arranged special coachwork and marketed the cars as “Frazer Nash BMW.” Later, AFN became the UK importer for Porsche, a role it held until 1987, when Porsche established its own British subsidiary, Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd., bringing AFN’s long history to a close.
