The Ferrari 500 Mondial is a racing car produced by Ferrari from 1953 to 1955 in 31 units with the in-line four-cylinder engine designed by Aurelio Lampredi. The Mondial denomination is a tribute to the first conquest of the Formula 1 World Championship, by Alberto Ascari, in the 1952 season.
