#Eifelpokalrennen
The Eifelpokalrennen was a German motor-racing event associated with the Nürburgring and named after the Eifel region in which the circuit is located. The title was used for meetings and races featuring touring, GT and sports cars and became part of the Nürburgring’s extensive post-war competition programme. Events carrying the Eifelpokal name brought together factory-supported and privateer entries and were closely linked to the demanding character of the Nordschleife. In 1973, the designation formed part of the official title of the Internationales ADAC-500 km-Eifelpokalrennen, held on 2 September.
