Egon Tauscher is a German classic car and motorcycle enthusiast, restorer, rally driver, and tour operator based near Lake Constance. Paralyzed since a 1989 accident, he adapted his collection—ranging from a Mercedes W113 280SL to an Alfa Romeo 6C—to be driven independently from his wheelchair. He has competed in prestigious events such as the 2000 km Deutschland Rally, Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, and 2015 Carrera Panamericana. Founder of Egon Tauscher Tours, he crafts bespoke historic vehicle journeys across Europe and beyond, combining technical restoration, personal determination, and motorsport heritage.
