The 1st Circuito Automobilistico Reggio Emilia took place on May 8, 1949. The organization of a city circuit represented a truly important moment for the car sport in Reggio: in the absence of permanent circuits (only Monza was active), the city circuits became usual. The event, however, remained a unique episode due to the impossibility of both using the city route again and transferring the competition to the airport route, as instead happened in the case of Modena.

We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
