Opened in 1970 near Le Castellet in southern France, Circuit Paul Ricard is a versatile and highly technical track. Known for its long Mistral straight and distinctive blue and red run-off areas, it offers multiple layouts and modern facilities that make it a reference venue for endurance testing. Teams and manufacturers use it extensively to simulate long runs, evaluate reliability and fine-tune aerodynamic efficiency. Over the years it has hosted Formula 1, endurance racing, motorcycle grands prix and numerous development programs.
