#AvDRallyeWiesbaden

The AvD-Rallye Wiesbaden was one of Germany’s most important international rallies, organized by the Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) and based in the spa town of Wiesbaden. Founded in the early post-war years, it became part of the European Rally Championship (ERC) during the 1960s and 1970s. The event was known for its long and challenging route across Hesse and surrounding regions, combining fast asphalt sections with demanding gravel roads. At its height it attracted major works teams and leading international drivers, helping to establish Germany’s presence in the European rally scene.
