The AvD Preis der Nationen was a German motor race held at the Hockenheimring and organised under the auspices of the Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD). In 1973 it was held on 26 August as part of the Preis des AC der Schweiz – AvD Preis der Nationen meeting and counted as the sixth round of the Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft. The race used the 6.789 km Hockenheim circuit and featured separate divisions for the principal GT and touring-car classes.
