The Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) is one of the oldest motoring organizations in Germany, founded in 1899. Based in Frankfurt am Main, it has played a central role in promoting motorsport and supporting motorists for over a century. The AvD organized historic events such as the German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring and the AvD-Rallye Wiesbaden, and has long been a representative body of German drivers within the FIA. Today, in addition to its activities in road assistance and mobility services, the AvD continues to be associated with the tradition of German motorsport.
We'll tell the story of this association on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
