Opened in 2008 in southern Portugal, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is one of Europe’s most modern and demanding circuits. Known worldwide simply as Portimão after the nearby city, it is famous for its steep elevation changes, blind crests and a combination of fast and technical corners. The track has hosted Formula 1, MotoGP, the World Endurance Championship and numerous international testing programs.
