Armando François (Pontelagoscuro, 23 December 1905 - Gorizia, 8 May 1955) was an Italian aviator, ace of the Second World War and highly decorated. After the war he stood out as a gentleman driver. He passed away on May 8, 1955 during the Città di Gorizia competition, where he was racing for the San Giorgio di Ferrara team. The Trofeo Francois, a race of the Italian CSAI Historic Car Regularity Championship, was dedicated to him.
