#AngeloDagrada
Angelo Dagrada, born in 1912, was a skilled Milanese mechanic and racing driver. However, following two serious accidents in the early 1950s, he shifted his focus only to constructing and tuning cars for competition. After gaining experience as an employee in another workshop, he established his own operation, specializing in sports car engineering. Dagrada’s first notable creation was a 750cc sports car that competed successfully against established brands like Stanguellini and Giaur. His collaboration with Franco Bordoni Bisleri, a talented and loyal driver, brought Dagrada's creations to prominence. Together, they secured victories and high rankings in numerous events, including Mille Miglia and hill climbs, proving the effectiveness of Dagrada’s engineering. Angelo Dagrada’s cars often featured innovative adaptations. His expertise extended to Formula Junior. Financial difficulties forced him to close his workshop in 1969, but his legacy endured through the mechanics he trained, who carried on his principles of precision and innovation in their own ventures.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
