André Canonica was a Swiss racing driver active during the 1950s. In 1951, he purchased a Ferrari 195 Inter with chassis number 0097S, previously owned by Federico Munz. With this car, Canonica participated in several competitions, including a race on an airfield in Geneva, where he achieved first place overall. In addition to circuit racing, Canonica also participated in rally events. In 1952, he took part in the Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, finishing 119th overall and 46th in class 2, driving a Simca 9 Aronde with race number 321.
