#AltmühltalBergrennen

The Internationales Altmühltal-Bergrennen was a German hill-climb held in Bavaria, in the Altmühltal region, and formed part of the active southern German mountain-racing scene of the 1970s. The event attracted touring cars, GTs, sports cars and specialist competition machinery, with both regional and nationally known drivers taking part. It was one of several Bavarian hill climbs that contributed to the period’s dense programme of national and regional championships. Contemporary records confirm the Altmühltal-Bergrennen as an established event by 1975, when it featured prominently among the season’s Bavarian hill-climb meetings.
